Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from recognized University OR Equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Five Years Post qualification work experience in Supervisory / Executive Cadre as on 31st December 2009 is essential.

MBA from Punjab University
Courses/Exams: Two year full time management programmes in MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (HR), MBA (Biotech) – 2010
Eligibility: For MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (HR):
(A) (i) A Bachelor's/Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any other University which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
Provided that in the case of candidates having Bachelor's degree of the University through Modern Indian Languages [Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi (Gurmukhi script) and/ or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit/ Persian/ Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognised by the Syndicate, 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together. Selection Process : The selection procedure for admission consists of two steps :
Written Test
Applicants for the full-time programme are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT-2009) conducted by the IIMs.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Candidates short-listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion/personal interview will be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, and New Delhi. The final selection to the programme would be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test, group discussion, personal interview and work experience.
The following weightage will be given for each component of the selection criteria :
Written Test : 70%
Personal Interview : 20%
Group Discussion : 10%
An additional score upto 10 points for work experience will also be given for full-time work experience at managerial level in a professional organization.
