Courses/Exams: PhD Admissions at IISER Thiruvananthapuram for 2nd Semester beginning January 2010

Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for admission to the PhD program in IISER Thiruvananthapuram in the areas of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Interdisciplinary areas.

Eligibility: M.Sc. Degree in respective and allied disciplines or Graduates in Engineering, Medicine and Postgraduates in Agriculture with an aptitude for research. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination should be 60% and the candidate must have a valid GATE/ NET/ JEST/ ICMR/ DBT-JRF/ NBHM examination. Satisfying the minimum qualifications does not entitle one to be called for the interview.
